With an experience of around 24 years in power generation his major contributions are:

Planning, directing and monitoring projects ensuring quality and timeliness.
Leading, monitoring & mentoring the performance of team members to enhance efficiency in operations and to achieve individual & group targets ensuring customer as well as employee satisfaction.

He has to his credit flagship Cummins gas projects such as Shaukat Khanum Hospital, AKUH, Aysha Textile Mills, ATS Synthetic, NESCOM, UET, etc. Moreover, multiple MW diesel generator power plants such as Eastern Spinning Mills, Master Tiles, Coca Cola Pakistan (countrywide branches), various projects of Atlas Group, Interloop Faisalabad, DHA Islamabad & North West Hospital Peshawar are some of the names worth mentioning.

Major Contributions:

Died while on duty as a result of a fatal car accident, Junaid was only 37 on October 19, 2017. He served the organization for 10 years and leading with his own example set high KPI’s and a legacy for others to follow. He joined at the young age of 26 and soon started running the show holding several important portfolios and playing instrumental roles on many fronts. He was amazingly illustrious, industrious and versatile- a man of integrity and commitment. He inculcated a culture of philanthropy in the organization. He also played a great role in making the company operate and prosper without a recourse to the banking line.

Though his tenure was only about a decade yet he made the company advance several decades ahead with his invaluable contributions.

We proudly term his period of association with us as one of the best and pray to the Almighty to make good his loss and place his pure and pristine soul in eternal peace. Amen!

Maroof is a dynamic and results-oriented entrepreneur with a deep passion for driving innovative and sustainable renewable energy solutions. With an Executive MBA from LUMS, an engineering degree from NED UET Karachi, Maroof combines technical expertise with strategic business acumen.

He is the founding member of ESL Renewables, a successful solar and energy storage business segment. His commitment to business portfolio enrichment, new product development, and sustainable business diversification has been instrumental in the launch and scale of ESL Renewables. His unwavering dedication to reducing the carbon footprint and enhancing energy efficiency drives his vision for a greener and more sustainable world.

With over 17 years of experience in power generation with leading global manufacturers like Caterpillar, Cummins and Aksa Power Generation, Maroof has mastered the art of delivering turnkey power generation solutions, based on Natural Gas, Diesel and HFO power plant including waste heat recovery (WHR) systems. He has successfully led Pakistan’s largest DCC-compliant Data Center DG projects and multiple long-term BOT and BOO contracts, establishing himself as a key player in the captive power industry.

An Electrical Engineer from NED, Saad began his career at ESL in the year 2013 as Deputy Manager Projects. His MBA is also in its final stages from IBA.

Saad’s willingness to learn; his simple, humble and unassuming demeanors and his leadership skills helped him to successfully carry out a number of sales, service & installation projects.

His main achievements have been his very active participation in procurement and execution of Telenor Pakistan business involving over 1500 sets of various ratings; active participation in development and consolidation of Banking sector business involving thousands of sets of various ratings; execution of 3 x 1540 kW Cummins gas generators @ 11 kV in PRL. Development of rental business through Islamic (DM) financing model at leading retail outlets of the country. Besides active participation in development of service business for generators of all types, sizes, makes, models, manufacturers etc to become the customers’ choicest service provider. At the same, he is continuously endeavoring to convert this business into a revenue generating cash cow for the company!
