Mr. Maroof Ahmed Zuberi is the driving force behind ESL’s transition into renewable energy. With experience in the power generation sector since 2008, he launched ESL’s solar division in 2020 — a move that laid the foundation for ESL Renewables (Pvt.) Ltd., now a fully independent and fast growing clean energy company.

As Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Zuberi leads the expansion of solar and BESS into ESL Renewable’s portfolio with a sharp focus on technical excellence, client value and sustainable growth. Under his leadership, ESL Renewables has commissioned over 100 MW of solar capacity within a short span across Pakistan’s industrial landscape and is actively advancing hybrid and storage-integrated solutions.

With a background in technical sales, project execution and strategic planning — gained through key roles in leading engineering organizations — Mr. Zuberi brings a rare blend of commercial vision and engineering insight

    • Launching and scaling ESL’s renewable division into a full-fledged company
