Love is the only force capable of transforming an enemy into a friend’ – Martin Luther King

There is an old story about a lion and a rat. The little creature in his playful mood was jumping up and down the sleeping lion. The lion caught hold of him and was about to crush him to death when the rat implored for mercy stating that someday he would help the lion. The lion laughed and freed him.

Not long after, the lion got caught in a nylon trap. He was amazed to see that the little rat freed him in a matter of minutes.

It is said that it is very easy to be nice to a king but to be nice to a beggar is what requires a character. So, try to be nice to everyone without class, colour, caste and creed. Specially be nice to your customers. Love them. Try to look for ways and means to help them. This is called networking. It is like spending money on advertising. 86% of this money goes to waste but no one knows which 86%. So, keep doing good; keep advertising without expecting a reward. Be like Prophet Jesus who cured twelve lepers a day but only one gave thanks.

Keep doing good without keeping a ledger; start from home as charity proverbially begins from home. One who is not good to his parents, siblings, wife and kids and neighbours etc. can’t be good to others. Love to give, love to care, love to assist; you will transform your worst enemies into friends and most obstinate prospects into customers for life. You will become bigger than Steve Jobs, Elon Musk, Tatas and Manshas etc.

The holy verses repeatedly remind us to repel evil with good and by so doing the worst enemies will become the best friends.
