Pakistan’s new generation often complains that our leaders are always asking other countries for money.
There was a time when Pakistan was a strong country economically. In the past, Pakistan gave financial, technical, and food aid to other countries, which made our country respected. It is also surprising news for the youth that the countries they now run after for visas—like Japan, Germany, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, China, Iran, the United Arab Emirates, and Afghanistan—were once helped by Pakistan and Pakistan led them both technologically and economically. Our twenty-one most opulent industrialists were a boon for the country!
We hope that in the near future, Pakistan will become an economic power again. Instead of asking others for help, Pakistan will be able to help others as it did in its initial years and give its people a chance to walk proudly in the world. But I wonder what went wrong?
I wonder what is the single largest reason of Pakistan’s descent to abyss after a wonderful start? Until we know the reasons of our decline, we cannot rise again!
